Wines of the World - Tempranillo
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Smyrna, GA

Come learn more about the world of wine in a comfortable setting around our community table. Each week our resident wine geek, Iris Kampbell, will focus on one of the best wine making regions or a unique theme and you will get a chance to sample 5 wines from that region or theme along with some artisan cheese to gnosh on.

There will always be new wines to try and functional information that will be short, sweet and to the point. This is a perfect setting for a 'friends night out', date night and those looking to meet others interested in learning more about wine. Each week we'll teach you the system we use to rate wines and ask you to vote and help us decide what will be eligible for our future wine list selections.

Seventh Annual Worcester Wine & Food Festival
5:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Worcester, MA

Hear ye, hear ye! A Winter's Knight...Cedarburg's 35th Annual Winter Festival, February 7 & 8, 2009 celebrates the lords and ladies, the knights and damsels, the dragons and soothsayers, the fools and fool'ettes for a Medieval Winter Festival.

Join us in the Kingdom of Cedarburg for the mighty contests: Ice Carving, Bed Racing, Chili Cooking, Barrel Racing and hunting for the Holy Grail, hidden in eggshells under the snow.

If you desire to partake of grog and grub and assorted malty happy brews among the grownups in the drafty castle and have a mind for a bit of gaming, come to the Cool Brew on Saturday night. Or sample the particularly comely wines from Cedar Creek Winery. However, if you awaken with a large and tender head, feed it with pancakes at the Pancake Breakfast.

Many sporting activities will make you shout Huzzah! Enjoy softball in the snow, big dogs pulling weighted sleds, hayrides, the royal Lion's Club golf tourney in the park and the pageantry of the Winter Festival Medieval Parade on Saturday afternoon.
