Climatech™ Air-Cooled Guide

The Climatech™ wine cooling system is available in four different sizes. Each size is designed to cool a specific size room. In addition, several important accessory items come with each unit to insure proper cooling in your wine cellar or wine room.

How does it work?

Climatech™ Installation Application 1

Application:

This application is appropriate when the system CANNOT be mounted remotely, or flush with the wall, and the external room is at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This WOULD NOT be an appropriate wine cellar refrigeration solution for temperatures in the external room that exceed 90° F or drop below 40° F except when the low ambient option is used.

Benefits:

This is the most simple installation of the system.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to the unit inside the wine cellar.
This mounting option allows use of any three supplies and one return directly into the wine cellar.

None Required.

Climatech™ Installation Application 2

Application:

This wine cellar refrigeration application is appropriate when flush mounting is possible or desired, and the external room is at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This WOULD NOT be appropriate for temperatures in the external room that exceed 90° F or drop below 40° F except when the low ambient option is used.

Benefits:

This is a very simple installation of the system into a wine cellar.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to the wine cellar refrigeration unit outside of the wine cellar.
This mounting option allows for two supplies to be ducted into the wine cellar (1 shown) and the return through-wall to the wine cellar refrigeration system.

Climatech™ Installation Application 3

Application:

This wine cellar refrigeration application is appropriate when flush mounting is possible or desired, and the external room is NOT at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This WOULD be appropriate for temperatures in the external room that are between 40° F and 90° F or below 40° F with the low ambient option.

Benefits:

This type of installation is ideal for smaller utility rooms.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to wine cellar refrigeration unit.
This mounting option allows for two supplies and one return directly into the wine cellar.

Climatech™ Installation Application 4

Application:

This wine cellar refrigeration application is appropriate when flush mounting is possible or desired, and the external room is at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This application is also perfect when a balanced cold air supply into the wine cellar is desired. This WOULD be appropriate for temperatures in the external room that are between 40° F and 90° F or below 40° F with the low ambient option.

Benefits:

This type of installation ensures a balanced temperature condition throughout the wine cellar.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to wine cellar refrigeration unit. (If attaching humidifier, one of the supply ducts will have to be on the top leaving the side duct option open for the attachment of the humidification system.)
This mounting option allows for two supplies and one return directly into the wine cellar.

Application:

This wine cellar refrigeration application is appropriate when flush mounting of the system is NOT possible or desired, and the external room is at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This WOULD be appropriate for temperatures in the external room that are between 40° F and 90° F.

Benefits:

This type of installation allows for a completely remote system.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to wine cellar refrigeration unit.
This mounting option allows for two supplies (one shown) and one return directly into the wine cellar.
This installation allows for perfect airflow through the wine cellar.

Climatech™ Installation Application 6

Application:

This wine cellar refrigeration application is appropriate when flush mounting of the system is NOT possible or desired, and the external room is NOT at least 2x the size of the wine cellar. This WOULD be appropriate for temperatures in the external room that exceed 90° F.

Benefits:

This type of installation allows for a fully remote system.
Easily allows Climatech™ Humidification System to be attached to the wine cellar refrigeration unit.
This mounting option allows for up to two supplies (one shown) and one return directly into the wine cellar.
This option allows for the system to be installed just about anywhere when outside air or air from another space is used to remove excess heat from the condenser.
