Q: What type of room should the Through Wall system vent into?
A:The interior room where the wine cellar cooling system is vented should be a non-living space that is at minimum 2x the size of the wine cellar as the system creates heat.
Q: How do I know if a Through Wall or Whisperkool is appropriate for my application?
A: The best way to find out which system will best work for you is to call one of our expert design consultants today at 888.812.4427. There are advantages in choosing one over the other and in making sure that your application can use a through the wall system and doesn't need a more robust system to safely preserve your wine.
Q: How do I know which system is appropriate for my application?
A: The choice of systems usually comes down to the amount of space you want to cool. But to be safe, and to account for all other elements, give us a call and go through your set up with our knowledgeable staff.
Q: Does the Through Wall wine cellar system deliver humidity?
A:True wine cellar humidity can only be delivered via a humidification system. The Through Wall is not a humidification system, however, it does integrate with the Humiditech humidification system and the controller can be used with both. Contact us to find out more.
Q: Why is the Through Wall more expensive than the Whisperkool?
A:The price increase is largely due to the construction and components that make up the units. The Through Wall is commercially rated, ETL listed and is designed to be extremely versatile and quiet in any situation. The Whisperkool emits more noise and is not commercially rated or ETL listed.

The new through wall systems can integrate with the Humiditech and use the same controller to adjust and monitor settings. You can add humidity and have a complete climate controlled environment to protect your wine with the addition of the Humiditech in the wine cellar.

With the remote controller, you can monitor and/or control the temperature and humidity, when added, of your wine cellar from a remote location to ensure that your wine cellar environment stays within the optimal settings for your wine.

Exhaust Duct Collar
The exhaust air of your Though Wall system can be ducted out of the open space if your additional space is not 2x the size of the wine cellar. Simply attach the duct collar and add your own ducting to bring the hot air outside or into another room in the house needing heat (for winter use).
