Vigilant offers two types of corner wine racks, the true curved, and the segmented. Either will look great in a wine cellar, but some will prefer the sleek look of the true curved and others will like the seamless appeal with the surrounding racking of the segmented. The construction of a slatted arch and a beadboard arch is closely similar. The only difference between the two is in the look of the finished trim. Both are made from the finest quality mahogany wood and both add a tremendous amount of aesthetic value to any wine cellar. The slatted allows for about a ½” opening on either side of the slats, while the beadboard is one continuous band of wood. The choice really comes down to your preference. So do you like the slatted or beadboard look?

One of the major benefits to Vigilant’s wine racking is the breadth of our diverse kit product line. What this means for you is the ability to seamlessly integrate our Classic, Estate and Wine Cabinet Kit lines to create a truly unique and custom looking wine cellar at only a fraction of the cost.

One way we combat wine bottle damage is the use of eased edges on our angled slats. Vigilant radius’s all edges of each slat and sands each slat. Additionally, we angle each slat 45 degrees to ensure that the entry of the bottle is smooth to avoid any damage.

Benefits: RTA fasteners allow Vigilant’s wine storage products to fasten quicker and easier with less hassle and less tools. With only a simple screw driver most Vigilant RTA products can be assembled in just a few easy steps, allowing you to spend more time enjoying your wine and less time building your wine room.

Vigilant’s wine racks have the tallest base in the industry at 2.5”. This means that your starting bottle position is well up off the floor thus protecting the bottle from damage caused by foot traffic. Our solid construction allows us to have this increased starting bottle position and still maintain the strongest and most durable wine racks in the industry.

New styles of wine bottles has created the need for wine racks that can accommodate. Vigilant has redesigned its classic magnum wine rack to perfectly hold many styles of over-sized bottles, including Champagne, Magnum and Turleys. Vigilant has spent a lot of time developing the openings on our wine racks to be superior to all others. We have designed and redesigned our slats to accommodate as many types and styles of wine bottles as possible. This means that your bottles slide in and out of the racks easier and with no damage to labels or foils.

Vigilant wine racks are the only ones in the industry that offer end panels standard. We have two types of end panels, inset, which apply inside the outermost ladder uprights and applied, which affix over the entire side of the wine rack. Both have benefits in added stability and an increase in aesthetic value for the wine cellar. Additionally, our horizontal bottle displays or our Vintage View wine racks affix perfectly to our end panels for additional storage and display.

Vigilant’s wine racking depth of 13.5” was developed to provide the wine bottles with the most amount of real estate possible for maximum security against breakage. Our depth extends across all of our kit racking lines and ensures that your wine cellar has a seamless look while maintaining the needed stability.

An individual wine bottle rack is not built to withstand the elements or daily use if it is not dadoed. Dadoed spacer bars ensure that the wine rack achieves the maximum amount of stability possible.
